On 9 November 2016 the e-Ambassadors Reunion brought together 25 representatives of the rational, rural and municipal public libraries that had been trained on the use of electronic public services. The event was organized in partnership with the E-Government Center and took place at the Moldova-Korea Information Access Center.
During the event, e-Ambassadors shared their successes at the local level, as well as the challenges encountered in working with different target groups and identified solutions for these issues. Ten recently trained e-Ambassadors received electronic signature issued by the Center of Special Telecommunications and were trained on their proper use.
The main development priorities included in the Moldova 2020 Digital Strategy were presented at the event. In the context of developing and implementing the concept of the Center for Electronic Governance, the participants also discussed the work and capacity of public libraries in terms of infrastructure, provided services, user profile, as well as partnerships with local public authorities and other community institutions.
During March-April 2016, 18 e-Ambassadors received training on the use of e-services and another group of 11 e-Ambassadors received training during October 27-28.
