In 2016, Novateca program in partnership with the e-Governance Center supported the trainings on public electronic services for 29 representatives of the municipal, raion and rural libraries from Moldova. As a result, they received e-Ambassador certificates and were accredited to facilitate citizens' access to e-services at the national level. Librarians have the mandate to train community members on the use of public electronic services, including representatives of local public administration, business and other social categories, and are successfully promoting the benefits of e-services and helping citizens to save time and financial resources.

“We notice a growing number of people accessing e-services at the library and we are glad to facilitate this service and offer assistance to all the library users," said Cristina Scoferci, e-Ambassador at Floresti Town Public Library.

By promoting the use of public electronic services at the national level, with the support of the Novateca program and the e-Governance Center, e-Ambassadors are successfully contributing to the development of a more efficient, transparent and responsive governance in the Republic of Moldova.
