
Dear librarians,
Novateca launches the "Q&A Economic" video contest for all libraries eager to promote online their Economic Development services and strengthen their relationship with library users!
The online environment is one of the most effective platforms to initiate a dialogue with library users and non-users, as well as to receive and provide feedback on implemented modern services at the library!
The objective of the contest is to create a short video together with your partner where you will address a topic from the trainings you provide within the Economic Development month and offer 7-10 tips on how to find a job/ improve their financial education via your library service!
A few suggestions for video content include, but are not limited to:
- How to develop a good CV
- How to present oneself at a job interview
- How to withdraw cash from ATM
- How to develop a financial plan
- Financial advice for young adults
- How to choose your future career
- How to use the automatized accounting program 1C
- How to apply for an internship
- How to access financial sources
Eligibility:
This contest is open to all libraries, village, raion, municipal, national, participating in the Economic Development month within the "See you at the Library!" campaign.
What do you have to do?
1. Choose a topic from the services you provide in the Economic Development month and ask your partner to join you in this fun initiative.
2. Together with your partner, create a short video (2-3 min) to address the subject and offer 7-10 practical tips to users on how to find a job / develop financial skills through the service provided by the library!
3. Place your video on your library Facebook using the #nevedemlabiblioteca and promote it online, asking users to appreciate, distribute, and comment on your post by asking questions!
NB! The results will be calculated based on the likes, distributions and comments accumulated exclusively on the library Facebook page!
4. Submit your video and screenshot showing the number of likes, distributions and comments gathered on the Facebook page in an e-mail entitled "Video contest_Q&A Economic Development" at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Application period:
Place the video on the Facebook page: September 6-22
Sending the video and the screenshot showing the number of likes/ distributions/ comments: September 25th
Evaluation period: September 26-28
Announcement of results: September 29, 2017
