We are excited to announce that yesterday we have welcomed a new cohort of libraries to our network during the START orientation event. This is the second conference organized by Novateca both for the new, as well as for the existing Novateca members. The event brought together librarians and local public administration representatives from Causeni, Balti, Stefan Voda, Straseni and Ungheni regions. The 250 attendees were briefed on the program's vision for modern libraries and the equipment delivery process, security requirements and professional development opportunities. The conference continued with the network session followed by a meeting for IT specialists and trainers. The goal of the meetings was to familiarize each participant with his role and set the conditions for a smooth implementation of the national program, as well as facilitate the process of modernization of public libraries.

We congratulate our entire growing network as they embark on the modernization path together with Novateca.
