Novateca is proud to announce that the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, in cooperation with the Hurmuzachi Eudoxiu Institute for Romanians Abroad, is organizing a study tour to Romania on October 6-10 for Moldovan public librarians. During the five-day tour, approximately 40 Moldovan librarians will be able to learn about Romania’s successful experience in rehabilitation of its public library system, lessons learned from the Biblionet program (the sister program of Novateca), and also will visit museums and other cultural institutions in Bucharest. All costs of this study visit will be covered by the organizers.
The Novateca program is proud to act as a partner and facilitator for this exciting program, and hopes that many Novateca librarians will take part in this unique learning opportunity. Details on selection will be sent to Raion Library Directors and Department of Culture Heads who are currently participating in the Novateca program.
