Novateca has the pleasure to share with you the news of a new partnership that was recently launched between Moldovan libraries and a software development company from Romania that will donate a suite of educational software to empower the public libraries in Moldova to assume an essential role in supporting early literacy within a community.
According to the partnership, five raion libraries in Moldova, that serve as Training Centers within the Novateca program, will test a great educational resource, called EduTeca, in a number of libraries to see how children are using this suite of software together with their parents.
Today, Ascendia, in partnership with Novateca and the Ministry of Culture, started to train the librarians selected to pilot the educational software. The trainings are held at the National Center for Librarian Professional Excellence in Chisinau and after the completion of the trainings, all the libraries will have the possibility to try it in their communities.
The software will give the libraries an extra activity to do for kids, online, using the computer resources as well as offer libraries new and interesting solutions for children who are always looking for opportunities to explore new things.
