Novateca launches the Library Network Grants contest to further support the development and implementation of modern library services targeting the changing needs of the community members and strengthening the coordination and collaboration between the main library and local libraries in a network.

Raion, municipal or town public libraries in the Republic of Moldova that currently are part of the Novateca network (equipped by May 31, 2016), in collaboration with 6-8 local libraries from their raion or municipality, that have proven experience in implementation of modern library services, and are interested to develop innovative library services oriented towards the needs of the community members are invited to participate. The modern library service must be implemented in collaboration with a community partner (an NGO, private or public partner). The grant proposal activities must cover the period of September 2016-January 2017. Period of the project implementation supported by Novateca: 5 months, starting with September 19, 2016. The library network may apply for a single project up to 90 000 MDL.
