On April 11 2017, librarians from the Briceni raion gathered at the Gala of Modern Library Services to celebrate their successes in implementing innovative services and share best practices and lessons learned.

On April 12 -13, representatives from National Library, Chisinau Municipal Library, National Children’s Library and Super Training Centers from Novateca library network attended the first software donation working group meeting for library IT specialists. The meeting was hosted by the National Library and was attended by 12 IT specialists eager to acquire advanced IT skills.

April 9 2017, nine librarians from Novateca network became certified Cisco IT Essentials experts who provide advanced IT trainings and motivate library visitors to get online and enjoy the benefits of digital inclusion.

On March 31 2017, librarians from Drochia, Straseni, Rezina and Dubasari gathered along with their partners to share their successes in developing health and IT services and celebrate the launch of the sustainability phase of Novateca’s Library Network Grant program. The event served as a platform for the 50 participants to discuss best practices and highlight their achievements using online applications.

During March 20-24, 2017, trainers from the National Center of Professional Excellence for Librarians, Regional Centers of Professional Excellence from Balti Municipal Library and raion libraries from Orhei, Telenesti, Cahul, Ceadir-Lunga, Causeni, as well as trainers from the Center of Excellence of the National Children’s Library participated in trainings on the advanced Training of Trainers module.
