Evan Tracz, Novateca Program Director is one of the laureates of Annual Awards of Ministry of Culture, awards given for the proeminent works in literature, theatre, music, choreography, cinematography, plastic arts, library field, cultural heritage preservation and museology in 2015.

Novateca Program invites all librarians, willing to become powerful advocates of their library in the community and libraries at national level, to be members of the Library Leaders Advocates Team. The initiative has the aim to set up a team of library leaders which will build and/or strengthen their knowledge

Novateca program organized a range of information sessions on 2, 9 and 16 July for libraries from the municipality of Chisinău and raions Bălți and Cahul, focusing on the process of modernizing new libraries selected for acceding to the Novateca network in 2015.
