Novateca has the pleasure to share with you the news of a new partnership that was recently launched between Moldovan libraries and a software development company from Romania that will donate a suite of educational software to empower the public libraries in Moldova to assume an essential role in supporting early literacy within a community.

In the context of the Cybersecurity Month, the International Center “La Strada”, in partnership with the Novateca Program will conduct informative seminars for Moldovan librarians. Throughout the seminars, librarians will find useful information and discover new opportunities to transform libraries into vibrant community centers.

Novateca awarded the certificates to the first series of Novateca trainers. 9 librarians from the raions Ialoveni, Hînceşti Şoldăneşti, Rezina, Teleneşti and Orhei became trainers of the regional training centers. As a result, the trainers will develop and support training programs for both librarians from village libraries and communities across Moldova.
